In this article:
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is an email authentication method designed to detect forging sender addresses during the delivery of the email. SPF alone is limited to detecting a forged sender claim in the envelope of the email, which is used when the mail gets bounced.
Some email hosts, like Gmail, require senders to have an SPF record to prevent emails from getting marked as SPAM or JUNK.
We automatically add our SPF record to any domain using our hosting services, to help prevent any issues when sending out to those email hosting providers like Gmail.
