We pushed an update to automatically add our SPF record to any domain using our hosting services in late July 2023. If you do not see the SPF record on your DNS management page, and your domain is pointing to our nameservers and using our email hosting services, please follow the instructions below:
-
Log into your account and click on the DNS Tab.
-
Using the drop-down menu under Select domain to manage, select the domain name you're looking to update, and click the Go button.
-
To add the SPF record, use the drop-down menu under "Add records for:" and select TXT then click "Add."
-
Leave the text box under "Host" empty.
- Copy and paste the following in the blank text box under "Text":
v=spf1 include:_spf.tierra.net ~all - Click "Add."
-
Once the record has been added it could take 24-48 hours for the changes to propagate.
If we are not managing your nameservers or DNS records, but your domain is using our email hosting services, please take the following information to your nameserver and DNS management provider:
Record Type: TXT
HostName: @ or Blank
Value: v=spf1 include:_spf.tierra.net ~all
TTL: Default
