How do I transfer my domain name to another registrar?

We understand that all good things must come to an end, and we're sorry to see you go. The steps below will guide you through transferring your domains. If you need any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact customer support.

Turn OFF your WhoIs Lock: 

1. Log into your account and click on the Domains navigation tab to go to your main Domain Services page.
   
    
2. Click on the + sign on the left-hand side of the Domain that you wish to transfer to expand your domain's control panel. 
   
    
3. While viewing the domain you wish to transfer, click the WhoIs button in the bottom left-hand column. 
   
    
4. Click the green ON button to turn OFF 
   
   
    

Turn OFF your Registrar Lock: 

1. Log into your account and click on the Domains navigation tab to go to your main Domain Services page.
   
    
2. Click on the + sign on the left-hand side of the Domain that you wish to transfer to expand your domain's control panel. 
   
    
3. While viewing the domain you wish to transfer, click the green Registrar Lock "ON" button (If you find that the Registrar Lock is greyed out, please Contact Customer Support so they can assist in removing that lock for you)
   
    
4. In the pop-up, click the Continue Unlocking button.

Obtaining your Transfer Code:

1. While viewing the domain you wish to transfer, find the Registrar Lock button in the bottom left-hand column.
   
    
2. Click View Auth-Info/EPP Code link to the right of the Registrar lock.
   
    

3. A small window will appear displaying the transfer authorization code for the domain.
   
   Please note that this code is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown when submitting it to your new registrar. The code will remain unchanged and available as long as the Registrar Lock is disabled.
   
    

4. Take the domains Auth/Epp code to the new registrar to initiate the domain transfer. Once the authorization code is successfully submitted and/or the transfer is approved by the gaining registrar, our system will email you within 24 hours requesting your confirmation. 
   If you choose to reject the transfer at this stage, the request will be canceled. If you do not respond or explicitly reject the transfer, it will be automatically completed within five days.
