Before you begin...
For the smoothest experience, make sure your domain's name servers and hosting are both pointing to us. If they are not, you can still purchase an SSL certificate; just browse the other SSL options we offer that may better fit your setup.
Purchasing Your Certificate
How do I start the purchase process?
- Log in to your account and go to the Security tab.
- Hover over SSL Certificates and click Purchase Certificate.
- Navigate to the Domain Validated section and click Continue.
If you're interested in our new Standard SSL certificates, you'll be given two options:
- Standard SSL — Best for a single, standalone domain.
- Standard SSL Wildcard — Covers your primary domain plus unlimited third-level subdomains.
Select the option that fits your needs and click Continue.
Entering Your Domain Information
In the Common Name field, enter the domain name you want the certificate issued for (e.g., yourdomainname.com). Then click Continue.
Completing Payment
You can complete the purchase using the card already on file, or enter a new card if needed. Once your payment details are ready, click Confirm Order to finalize.
After your order is confirmed, a banner will appear notifying you that your certificate has been issued. You can view your signed certificate at any time by going to the Security Home section.
