Create a One-Page Website with Value-Added Services

TierraNet includes a free One-Page Website as part of its Value-Added Services, and no hosting is required. If your domain registration and nameservers point to TierraNet, you're ready to go.

It's an ideal solution if you need a simple online presence without the complexity of building a full website. You can add a tagline, contact details, an image or PDF, your own text, and choose colors and a layout.

Getting started

To access your Value-Added Services:

1. Log into your account and click the Domains tab in the navigation menu.
2. Click the + symbol to the left of the domain you want to update. Two panels appear showing your current domain settings.
3. In the right panel, click Edit next to Web Service.
4. Select the radio button next to the Value-Added Service you want (here, the One-Page Website) and fill in any required details.

Applying the service to several domains: In step 3, click the (additional domains...) link, select the domains you want, and move them to the Selected Domains box using the right arrow.

Customize your One-Page Website

After you select the One-Page Website option, you can personalize the page with these settings.

Setting	What it does
Contact information	Check Display my contact information to show your details, such as name, company, address, phone number and email. They appear as plain text, below your image if you added one.
Tagline	A short line that serves as your site's title, subtitle or intro.
File upload	Upload a logo, image or pre-built PDF to display on the page. Accepted formats include .jpg, .png and .pdf, among others. Files must be under 500 KB.
Colors	Choose a foreground color (your text) and a background color. Pick colors that contrast well so the page is easy to read.
Page content	Enter your main text. You can include links and HTML, up to 25 KB.
Layout	Choose Layout 1, Layout 2, No Layout (text only), or Disabled.

Save and publish your changes

When you're done, click Preview Changes in the lower right corner to review a draft of your site. If everything looks right, click Confirm Changes to publish it.
