If you have multiple versions of your domain name, you may need to redirect them to a single, established domain. Conversely, if you are temporarily redirecting due to rebuilding your site, it's crucial to determine whether a "301" or "302" redirect is necessary. You can implement a domain redirect in two ways.
Option A: For this option to work, you need to have the domain registered with us and the Nameservers need to be pointing to us. Here is how to update the Nameservers if you need to:

Here are the steps for creating your redirect:
- Log into your TierraNet control panel
- Click on Domains then select Domains Home
- Select the domain from the list of domains
- Click on the (+) icon to the left of the domain name to expand the field
- In the second gray box click the option for Value Added Services: click Edit
- Once in the Value-Added Services page select the option to Redirect my domain to an existing URL and enter the redirecting site URL.
- At the bottom click Preview Changes then Confirm Changes.
Option B: For this options to work, you can have your domain registered with an outside vendor, but your Nameservers have to be pointing to us and you have to have a hosting service with us. Don't have hosting yet? Here are our hosting services:

Here is the alternative method to create your redirect:
- Log into your TierraNet control panel and click on the DNS Tab.
- Using the drop-down menu under Select domain to manage, select the domain name you're looking to update, and click the Go button.
- In the bottom, for the section labeled Add Record for: "domain" you can click on the drop down menu and select "Value Added Service"
- Click "Add."
- Once in the Value-Added Services page select the option to Redirect my domain to an existing URL.
- Type in or "paste" the URL you would like to redirect to and select one of the options:
- 302 temporary redirect (Default)
- 301 permanent redirect
- At the bottom click Preview Changes then Confirm Changes
Adding a redirect may not work immediately. Making changes to your domain's DNS could take 24-48 hours to finish propagating. If you find your domain is not redirecting properly after that period of time, please contact us for further support.
